Adastra Fraud Management System (AFMS)

AFMS is an application developed by Adastra as a support tool for fraud detection. It is designed specifically for the insurance, banking and telecommunicationst industries. Thanks to the universality and flexibility of the solution, AFMS can also be deployed in other areas.

The most frequently occurring frauds are insurance fraud in insurance segment, credit card breaches and money-laundering in the banking sector. In telecommunications the most commonly seen frauds include subscribing to services and never paying for them (including roaming based frauds), and abusing subsidies or other marketing events. Another problem concerns fraud committed by the employees and unreliable business partners of banks and insurance companies.

AFMS efficiently assists these institutions by constantly monitoring non-standard events, detecting suspicious cases and by additionally offering a way of averting these frauds and damages. In most cases, fraud is identified by characteristic behaviour patterns. The AFMS application incorporates a sophisticated and user-optional set of rules, which recognises such a moment.
The solution includes data integration and assures consistent data for automated fraud detection, scoring, administration and assessment of rules determining the degree of suspicion and system support to investigate suspicious cases.

The AFMS solution is used by leading Czech insurance companies such as ČSOB Pojišťovna, Allianz pojišťovna, Kooperativa pojišťovna and Česká podnikatelská pojišťovna to detect fraud.
